Ken Starr is dead
I don’t know whether Starr is one of the dozens of obits that Erik has ready to go — I certainly hope so — so I’m going to limit myself to noting what an incredible disgrace the Starr Report was to American law and politics: a nauseatingly prurient fishing expedition, that uncovered nothing but a wholly consensual 20-month affair between a married man and an unmarried adult woman.
Bill Clinton shouldn’t have committed semi-adultery, and he shouldn’t have lied about it under oath, but neither of those things would rank in the top 100 deplorable acts Donald Trump committed when he was president, and they certainly wouldn’t make Trump’s lifetime top 1000 list.
Nor do either of them stack up to much in comparison to committing a spectacular assortment of war crimes in the name of Bringing Freedom to the Middle East.
And that doesn’t even touch on the horrendous Baylor garbage (noted by Scott below).
