This is………………Salem? Oregon? That Salem? Like, I’ve looked up “best bbq in Oregon,” which let’s face it, ain’t going to be that good. Does Salem have some outsized role I’ve never known of before? No, it does not seem to have. Like, there’s 1 place on this list. That doesn’t even get us to Lexington or Wichita or Clarksville.
As for what is going on here, maybe these towns have BBQ joint owners who are donors to conservatives? That’s about all I got. I do know that this is the worst food list ever. And I fully expect wingnuts to be stopping in Salem on the way trying to kill some liberals in Portland now, even though Salem is where that evil Kate Brown is at and all.
