Bolton’s self-flattering assertion that fascism requires a very high level of dedication and competence isn’t just shared by fascists — it was a central tenet of people on the left who preached complacency in the face of Trump. But the man who took fascism the furthest provides dispositive evidence that this isn’t true, and 1/6 is just the latest exposure of the fallacy.
