If you weren’t watching the hearings, this is really quite extraordinary:
The January 6 committee presents a pre-produced, previously unseen video showing the day of Jan. 6, 2021 in chronological order, starting in the morning before the Capitol was breached. Watch the full video here: https://t.co/zJGbTzYCeY— CNN (@CNN) June 10, 2022
Cheney’s presentation was also very, very good.
One way you can tell how devastating the hearings have been is that Fox doesn’t even want to risk its viewers checking them out during commercials:
Carlson went the whole hour without a break, Fox is desperate to keep its viewers from switching to another channel and seeing the hearing in real time. https://t.co/XuQZfelPol— Matthew Gertz (@MattGertz) June 10, 2022
That with very few honorable exceptions the Republican Party is split between “fine with it” and “actively supports it” is a problem it’s hard to see American democracy surviving. It’s a party of Jareds:
Rep. Liz Cheney highlights testimony from Jared Kushner, in which he says White House counsel Pat Cipollone's threats to resign amounted to "whining." #january6thcommitteehearings pic.twitter.com/f3tTRI0dre— MSNBC (@MSNBC) June 10, 2022
