The real scandals

With respect to today’s prurient story du jour, two points:

1)There is nothing wrong with anybody wearing any undergarments of their choosing, adults attending consensual sex parties, having a disability, or any combination of these things.

2)The faction of the American reactionary movement that sees drag queens reading stories as a reason to end democracy and is urging the passing of laws to penalize and stigmatize people for their sexual orientation and identity is irredeemably vile. (The fact that their private activities and those of their allies tend to demonstrate bad faith isn’t good but the hypocrisy per se isn’t the biggest problem.) And if you associate with them and promote them because at least they own the libs you’re a massive piece of shit too.
