This is indeed a perfect encapsulation of the Republican Party in 2022 — the rubes get run, the corporations (including those who are ostensibly being opportunistically targeted) walk away with the money:

Anyway, to be Scrupulously Fair a tax increase disincentivizing people from living in Orlando is probably the best idea DeSantis will ever have.
