The only thing I’m gonna say is that it’s really weird how people still talk, as here, about “asking” for a divorce, and, conversely, “agreeing” to it.
You don’t need to ask and you don’t need to agree, although I’m pretty sure that’s one of the things about the modern world that Dreher would very much like to change.
