LGM Film Club, Part 254: Hot Pepper

I’d seen quite a few of Les Blank’s documentaries, but I had missed his profile of Clifton Chenier and the Cajun culture around him, Hot Pepper. That it combines music, food, and local traditions makes it right in Blank’s wheelhouse and it’s quite enjoyable. A good trailer is online and there are other places where you can watch the whole thing.
