Sunday Ted Lasso Open Thread

Okay explain these results to me peeps:

I’m not surprised precisely that Coach Beard won, but I am surprised by the strength of Higgins and the weakness of both Ted and Nate. Do my twitter followers inordinately identify with supporting characters? No heroes, no heels? Is this just my twitter followers or does it speak to a more general preference? If I asked a similar question of the Sopranos (say Tony, Christopher, Paulie, Silvio) would the answers also be clustered around the last two? Well as it turns out…

This is interesting because I can see how intimidating it would be to say “I identify with Tony Soprano” in a way that doesn’t apply to Ted Lasso. I myself would have chosen Silvio, so I can’t say that I’m at odds with the folks in either poll. I won’t pursue this much farther although I’d guess that Ser Davos and Sam Tarly would do well in a GoT version of this poll.
