A large majority of Republicans think of Trump in pretty much the same way that members of the Unification Church think of their (technically) deceased wackjob leader, and his still extant in this space-time continuum widow.
Only about half of them think having Trump as the 2024 nominee will help Real America win the White House back, however, probably because of all the terribly unfair fake news from the mainstream media, like for example the story above about how Trump supposedly gave a fawning address to a gathering of one of the world’s largest and most dangerous cults.
