LGM Film Club, Part 198: Mission Accomplished

The nostalgia for George W. Bush that rose at the end of the Trump administration was 70% the fevered minds of leftists hating the shitlibs or whatever, but it was 30% true. That was not pretty to look at. I’m sitting here today watching the disaster that is Afghanistan. I really don’t think there was a legitimate way to create a different outcome. But it sure didn’t help that Cheney’s Toy himself was leading the initial invasion, which he immediately forgot about so he could go avenge Daddy in Iraq, which he also screwed up royally. Anyway, if we want to remember just how bad Bush was, I’d say watching the “Mission Accomplished” speech. Heckuva job Bushie.
