10,900 people evacuated from Kabul in the last 12 hours; 48,000 in the last nine days
Following up on Scott’s and Cheryl’s posts below, now that another day of activity is complete, the evacuation of Kabul by the American military and other coalition forces is increasingly looking like a triumph of both logistics and political pragmatism, over the Fight An Unwinnable War Forever strategy favored by the Blob and its media cheerleaders (As if there were a difference between the latter two. Spoiler: there isn’t).
It will be interesting to see how quickly, if at all, the American media outside of the Wingnut Scream Machine come to acknowlege that their initial framing of the evacuation is apparently going to end up being as wrongheaded as their coverage of Operation Enduring Freedom itself.
