In some ways, the best representative of what’s happened to the Republican Party isn’t the QAnon caucus but the members who started out as Moderate, Reasonable Republicans and (however tepid) Trump critics, but actually became MORE abject Trump lickspittles after he incited a riot meant to stop an election and install him as dictator. Elise Stefanik might now be an even better example of this than Lindsey Graham:

Her argument is, of course, 100% pure Gym Jordan bullshit, which she knows perfectly well and isn’t the point.
Trump will be the Republican nominee in 2024 if he’s still alive, and it’s scary to think of the margin Biden would have to win by to actually be able to maintain the presidency.
