Critical Color Theory
By The other day I was watching a YouTube video by an account that talks exclusively about paint colors. The thumbnail promised that it would discuss the hottest new colors of 2021. I was excited. I thought the creator was going to talk about all these incredibly deep, dark blues, greens and teals I’ve been seeing on walls and kitchen cabinets.
instead, this MFer spent 20 straight minutes talking about various shades of white and gray, and my soul flew out of my body and punched me in the face until I fell unconscious.
Please revive me by telling me what colors you like. It doesn’t even have to be relation to design. Just tell me what colors make you happy.
