Arizona and the Big Lie

Generally, an advantage of conspiracy theories is that they’re conveniently unfalsifiable, or close to it. Donald Trump, conversely, prefers to deal in specific and easily falsified claims:

We can’t indulge these insane lies any longer. As a party. As a state. As a country.

And given that his party has just announced that telling the truth about the 2020 election is disqualifying for a place in the Republican leadership, why not? It’s more authoritarian this way.
