Why hasn’t Donald Trump been impeached (again) yet?
Mrs. Moscow Mitch just found her principles after misplacing them for 13 days short of four years, so hopes of rounding up enough Cabinet members to allow Pence — assuming he’s willing, which is a major assumption — to invoke Section Four of the 25th amendment are fading.
I’m usually a critic of the standard lefty “Why doesn’t Nancy Pelosi use her magical witchcraft powers to instantiate True Socialism?” laments, but I don’t understand why the House Democratic Caucus hasn’t impeached Donald Trump this morning (indeed the House seems to be adjourned at the moment).
Every minute that passes without this happening is a disgrace.
. . . Pelosi at press conference is calling on Pence and Cabinet to remove Trump, and saying that if they don’t the House “may” proceed with impeachment.
. . . turns out Chao’s resignation isn’t effective until Monday so maybe there’s still a window for the 25th solution.
