NBA Open Thread

The folks have demanded an NBA open thread… so here’s an NBA open thread. I have virtually no remaining opinions about the NBA, as I haven’t really paid serious attention in years. Apparently Louisville is an expansion candidate, which… might rekindle some excitement? And to be clear I can’t really explain my lack of interest through virtue of changes in play or in personnel; the most likely candidate is that the combination of living in the Bluegrass with the resurgence of the Ducks under Dana Altman (along with the Ionescu Era) has focused all of my basketball attention on the college game. For what it’s worth, it does seem like some kind of expansion in this region is called for; the closest team appears to be the Pacers, and I cannot remember ever seeing a Pacers jersey in Lexington, where allegiances are largely driven by whoever has drafted the latest Wildcats.
