The sauve qui peut attitude that is becoming the norm in the GOP won’t destroy it from within – avarice throughout the right wing will do that – but it is a great source of LOLs.
Hawley’s decision to blow off the Republican Senate Majority Leader and the rest of his GOpeers in a very public manner must be more evidence of his super genius strategizing – with XtraPopulism – that has been chronicled on this very website.
I just can’t tell if he really thinks the Tweeter-in-Chief will appreciate his efforts if they don’t allow him to stay in the White House, or if he thinks the TiC will cease to be relevant when he is out of office. I.e., is he dumb, or is he dumberer?
