Panic in Detroit

This afternoon a couple of Trumpkins on the Wayne County Board of Canvassers (Wayne County is where the city of Detroit is located) refused to certify the result of the election, because there is so much “corruption” in “urban” voting centers, if you know what I mean and I think you do.

I’m happy to report that this immediately brought a veritable shitstorm down on their heads, to the extent that even as Trump and his (avert your eyes, Orin and Jonathan) legal whores were gloating about this development, it was reversed in an emergency late night meeting.

I forget which of our commenters (Sentient AI? Toby?) has noted several times that fascism isn’t a set of ideas to be debated, but a series of actions to be opposed.

Given that the Republican party is now an unambiguous death cult that worships somebody who bears more than a passing resemblance to the Antichrist, the next few weeks promise to be very interesting indeed.
