On some level, I think Trump doesn’t mind that it’s all going down like this

I mean the election was STOLEN from him, OBVIOUSLY. He’s the biggest victim in the entire history of the world, ever! Anne Frank and Joan of Arc and Jesus Christ and Abe Lincoln have got nothing on the Donald now.

Consider that he now gets to:

(1) Turn the pure resentment gripping his deranged and eminently griftable base up to 11.

(2) NOT HAVE TO ACTUALLY PRETEND TO DO THE JOB OF PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES ANYMORE.

This is huge. He hates it — absolutely hates it. This is a guy who has never ever had anything like an actual job before, and even though he presidents for about three hours a day on average max, think of how painful that must be to somebody like him, who still hasn’t done an honest day’s work in his entire life.

Now he can dump it all, cash in on some enormous continual network griftathon, play three rounds of golf a day, screw hookers without the SS around more than he wants them to be etc etc.

So I think this is actually working out pretty well for him, especially after he pardons himself and everybody who can rat him out, and flees to some ungovernable tribal region south of the Mason Dixon line.

Sure he’s the biggest loser now, but he’s been that his entire life and he knows it, so he’ll just continue to marinate in the narcissistic rage that long ago totally consumed him.
