McConnell announces continuation of his war on American democracy
The Senate Majority Leader representing the Party of Calhoun, one of the most destructive and evil forces in the largely dismal history of American politics straightforwardly asserts that his party’s victories are legitimate and the opposition’s are not:
Ah, Mitch McConnell makes it clear.
Republican victories in the House and Senate races are all legitimate, but the Republican loss in the presidential race — delivered on the exact same ballots — is not legitimate.
Cool. Cool, cool, cool.https://t.co/rBYCgM02Kk— Kevin M. Kruse (@KevinMKruse) November 9, 2020
I was just about to say this. Voter fraud is a myth. There is no decisive pool of “illegal” ballots, and Republican Party messaging on this score is at best a cynical attempt to delegitimize a decisive presidential defeat. https://t.co/MoDlpFHfC3— b-boy bouiebaisse (@jbouie) November 9, 2020
I hope Democrats are pointing out to Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins that the only way they’ll have any actual power going forward is if Schumer is the majority leader.
