Is our media learning? Major outlets are describing Trump’s defeat as Trump’s defeat

On the whole the dreaded Mainstream Media have really been surprisingly good over the last few days.
A characteristic headline from CNN:
“‘Dejected'” Trump Waffles Over Baseless Election Fight”
I like how this one emphasizes that Trump’s dejection requires a source, but the outcome of the election doesn’t, because it’s not actually in question.
NBC:
Misinformation metastasized: After Trump’s loss, a slew of misleading claims take hold.
There, that wasn’t so hard after all was it?
Even Rupert the Prince of Darkness seems to have decided that the game isn’t worth the candle, although of course over on the “opinion” side of FOX Hannity et. al. remain as insane as ever.
This kind of thing can definitely help at the margin, as refusing to be drawn into some sort of non-existent “controversy” about the outcome of the election just puts an exclamation mark on the pathetic character of Trump’s ongoing tantrum.
ETA: Collins and Cornyn are talking about how “President-elect Biden” should be getting intelligence briefings, so that pretty much tells you the air has all gone out of the maybe we can steal this thing balloon.
