It’s Margaret Mead day at LGM. You all were surprisingly interested in her grave post! So let’s close the day with the film she did with her then husband Gregory Bateson, Trance and Dance in Bali, which is an absolutely fascinating look at this Balinese ritual. The film itself was released in 1951 and narrated by Mead, but the filming took place in the late 30s.
