Everybody knows he was with the Russians too
One of the many problems with the Mueller investigation is that the question of “can you prove beyond a reasonable doubt that these specific defendants (who are conspiring to protect themselves and their patron) broke these specific federal laws, with their various technical requirements for criminal liability etc.” is actually a very different matter from the real world question of whether the Trump campaign knowingly solicited and accepted help from the Russian government to win (or “win”) the 2016 presidential election.
There isn’t the slightest doubt that the answer to that question is yes, and the final Senate Intelligence Committee Report on the matter just puts an exclamation point on that. (It is interesting that the GOP Senate released this now though).
