Half cocked excuses for bullet abuse regarding anything browner than tan

Police in Kenosha, WI shot a Black man who had been trying to break up a fight multiple times in the back:
Kenosha police shot a man Sunday evening, setting off unrest in the city after a video appeared to show the officer firing several shots at close range into the man’s back.
The shooting victim has been identified as Jacob Blake, a Black man, by Wisconsin officials. He was in serious condition at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee as of early Monday morning.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation said early Monday that the involved officers have been placed on administrative leave.

The man said when he went to the store about 15 minutes before the shooting, Blake was barbecuing with his kids. When the neighbor returned, Blake was trying to break up a fight. Seven or eight police officers arrived. They wanted to talk with Blake, but he wasn’t interested and started putting his kids in the car to leave.
The video shows Blake walking toward the vehicle as two officers follow him with their guns drawn. They did not appear to use any other force on Blake before one of them shot him and he slumped onto the steering wheel.
Even when they know they’re in a context in which there might actually be personal consequences, they can’t resist lynchings or attempted lynchings because that’s just how little value they put on Black lives.
