LGM Film Club, Part 42: Hot News Margie

Tonight’s film club is the 1931 short Hot News Margie, starring Marjorie Beebe, who was a minor comedic star in the late 20s through the mid 30s.

This is a pretty silly film. And of course what would the early 30s be without a midget in a humiliating scene. But at least we get to know what God thinks about tabloid reporters.
