LGM Film Club, Part 19: Dream of a Rarebit Fiend
In the “Let’s Make a Sandwich” thread the other day, someone brought up Dream of a Rarebit Fiend, the absolutely bonkers 1906 film about someone who eats too much Welsh rarebit (and OK, too many beers) and has a some crazy dreams. This is the good stuff, one of the early examples of just how bonkers the silent era could be. Edwin S. Porter, who directed this, was a genius under any definition.
In 2015, Congress added this to the National Film Registry.
