Star Wars Open Thread: The Spoilers

This is the second of three Star Wars Open Threads. It shall be reserved for those who have already seen the Rise of Skywalker, or who don’t care about spoilers. FWIW, I was too young to appreciate the meaning of the spoilery event in Empire Strikes Back. Some little punk whose name I forget spoiled Jedi for me, and some asshole on twitter spoiled the Last Jedi. Even granting that spoiler culture is poisonous, and that works of art should be able to stand a second viewing, it’s often nice to approach a film like this without having the core reveals spoiled.
