It’s getting hard to avoid the conclusion that Bernie is actually high on his own “our revolution will force Republican senators to vote for my agenda” supply:
.@BernieSanders on getting rid of the filibuster: "Donald Trump supports the ending of the filibuster. So you should be a little bit nervous if Donald Trump supports it.” Says his ambitious agenda can get through with the current legislative rules https://t.co/raSSHzs8cq

Um, it strikes me that what Mitch McConnell (correctly!) thinks about who the legislative filibuster benefits is rather more relevant that what Donald Trump “thinks,” but anyway. The fact that one of Bernie’s more prominent online fans recently wrote a fairly lengthy piece about a “heroic” presidency that could transcend the structural limitations on presidential power which are actually imaginary doesn’t alleviate my concerns either. There’s no political advantage to be gained in the Democratic primary by defending the Sacred Traditions of the World’s Greatest Deliberative Body. Occam’s Razor suggests that he actually believes this shit.
At this point the case for Bernie over Warren is…frankly I have no idea.
