McConnell would eat Hickenlooper for lunch and then go back for seconds. It’s amazing that a relatively leading Democratic politician (say what you will about his presidential ambitions but he was governor of Colorado during years when the state moved significantly to the left, often despite him, but still) actually believes this shit. But hey, what is America if not a place where mediocre white men rise to the top of society?
