In the latest LGM Podcast, Dan and I explore the logic behind the book project on American hegemony that he has outlined thus far in several blog posts. We talk at length about what we mean when we say “American” “liberal” “order,” the altogether odd situation that the defenders of the liberal order now find themselves in, and how we can project the transition to a new kind of order. We also talk a bit about the writing process, including discussion of the role that blog posts and comments play in developing and refining ideas.
