This explains everything

Yesterday, across the nation, thousands of people marched to protest tRump’s xenophobic immigration policies. Not just in large cities, but in places like Antler, N.D., where 15 of the 27 residents held a rally. Democrats from the House and Senate attended various marches around the country, including Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), who was arrested at a protest on Friday.

And then there was Sen. Bernie Sanders (Flag-of-Convenience-Vt.).

I was very pleased to join friends, supporters, volunteers, and the people of the Northeast Kingdom at Newport’s Centennial Celebration earlier today. Thank you to the city of Newport for the kind invitation and warm reception.

I may have said this before, but I sometimes struggle to reconcile Sanders’ words and actions with the claims that he is the new progressive hope of the new progressive revolution.
