Let’s Check In On America’s Most Widely Published Silenced Voice Again
Kevin Williamson, America’s Most Silenced Public Intellectual (TM), has once again been suppressed by being published in a major publication. So what views are the Atlantic’s readership being deprived of? Well — the kind of extended, content-free whine about Ezra Klein that Mickey Kaus used to do when he still had a writing career. Here’s a taste:
Our friends among the global-warming alarmists, embarrassed by the fact that every time Al Gore shows up to give a speech it turns out to be the coldest March day in 30 years, are forever lecturing us that weather doesn’t tell us anything useful about climate—except when it’s hot in the summer, or there’s a drought in California, or there’s a hurricane in Florida.
“It snows every time Al Gore gives a speech — CHECKMATE LIBS!” Yes, if Williamson is not immediately given a sinecure at the liberal publication of his choice we will be forced to get the same transparently stupid argument you’ve heard a billion times already only from Williamson at other venues and every other hack conservative pundit. What a tragedy!
