Will Trump run for re-election?

VS’s post on the possibility of Trump resigning — something everybody in the thread seems to agree is somewhere between extremely unlikely and unpossible — raises what seems to me at least to be more of a live issue: will Trump run again?

I think the possibility that he won’t is very real, though I wouldn’t want to put a number on it.  Depending on how the legal situation shakes out, I can see him handing out pardons to all and sundry and then lamming it to a Bermuda beach or a Black Sea dacha.   The counter-argument is that he’s such an extreme narcissist and he lives in such an epistemic bubble that he won’t know that quitting is the smart move for him.
