The Wire at 10
By The final episode of The Wire aired ten years ago today. In my opinion, it’s the best television show in history. (N.B. I am far from a TV buff.)
The Guardian’s Dorian Lynskey has a good retrospective up here that’s worth reading. I will now spend the rest of my day thinking about my favorite scenes from the show instead of doing these book edits.
Incidentally, I ran into Sonja Sohn at a Gregory Porter concert in Chicago last summer and mildly lost my shit. Man, I love this show.
