Thank God, finally we have some attention being paid to the music of the Baby Boomers. Really, another book on the music of the Vietnam Era is quite overdue, especially when it leads with a band as shitty as Country Joe and the Fish.

Meanwhile, in the world of music that was made sometime in the last 40 years, or *gasp* is being made today, Wussy has a new album coming out and the first single is really great. It’s also based on a character in the TV show Fargo, which I regret that I have not seen. But look, they are no mediocre white rock act who had a hit in 1969 that still arouses people in their late 60s.
