My blogging has been extremely light since the first of the year due to a long research trip in Boise and then driving across the country. I was in Iowa yesterday. It was obviously for one reason.

Really, the only reason to be in Iowa in January is to prepare to run for president. I plan to combine only the best parts of the Lincoln Chafee and Jim Webb from 2016 with Joe Biden in 1988 and Joe Lieberman in 2004 for a true winning ticket. Erikmentum is here!
As for the sandwich, I recognize it looks ridiculous. And it is. The bun is more useful as a way to hold the thing than for anything it offers, though the mustard and pickles are nice once you get there. But the pork is also very good.
