But isn’t this just Republican orthodoxy in action? I mean, sure, you could create laws to make this illegal, then enforce those laws, and then punish the companies and people who break these laws with huge fines and even prison time. But then that would create burdensome regulations that get in the way of the pro-business atmosphere this nation needs for executives to buy ivory-covered backscratchers to survive.
