Buttons
I got nothing this morning. It’s just a waiting game now, unless you are getting people out to vote, which makes you awesome.
But here’s some of the great campaign buttons of American presidential history.
I ran across this one at the Nixon Library. Junior Club too. Hot. We all work for dick in the end.
And then there’s this bit of historical steaminess from the Al Smith in 1928.
But my very favorite button that I know of comes from 1896. That year, an eclipse coincided with the election. William Jennings Bryan’s people took advantage.
Is that not the most awesome thing ever? I say it is.
