Query – Is a self-identified progressive who spends all of his time screaming NO TRUE SCOTSMAN! really a progressive? Or is he just a self-centered and noisy moron who has chosen, pretty much at random, “Progressive” as the label for his shtick?
I ask, because people such as the one featured in this post, are rather thick on the ground. While there are a number of words and terms and even whole paragraphs I’d use to describe them, [politically] progressive in’t on the list.
(And yes, I know that encountering the Brosephians’ manifestos on the internet is a vast improvement on an up close and personal recitation during a social gathering. But still. Yuck.)
