Hosting the Olympics
By It’s hardly surprising that the populations of democratic nations are now resisting hosting gigantic sporting events like the 2022 Winter Olympics. It’s a tremendous waste of money that does little to help the people of a nation except satisfy the egos of politicians and corporate leaders looking to be remembered for something.
