I don’t know about you, but I certainly trust the Texas legislature not to abuse the discretion over voting procedures the Supreme Court just gave them.

And, I mean, it’s not like they immediately rushed to enact vote suppression legislation after the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act or anything.
