The Broken Voting System
By Ethan Bronner has a very good article about how, despite the debacle of 2000, the U.S. still has a grossly inadequate voting system. Obviously, the fact that Florida’s inability to award its electoral college votes to the person the most people intended to vote for was excellent news for Republicans made any serious reform a non-starter.
