Five Years
Five years ago today, the I-35 bridge collapsed in Minneapolis, killing 13 people.
The state of our infrastructure remains abysmal, with future disasters likely. We could fix all of these things, but we need to give more tax cuts to Mitt Romney.
As usual, Class War Kitteh sums it all up.
….In comments, Minzer notes it’s the 10th anniversary of the Bush torture memos. I think what differentiates me from most progressives is that while we would all agree that both torture and collapsing bridges are terrible abominations, I am more concerned with the bridges and everyone else is more concerned with the torture.
