Kansas City
By Paucity of blogging over the past few days is due to the fact that I’m currently grading AP exams in Kansas City. Some brief KC thoughts:
- ETS has seen fit to lodge us in the Hotel of Death. The entrypoints of the top walkway have never been filled in, so you can see where it was every time you walk through the lobby.
- The World War I museum is kinda awesome. Inside is nice, outside is imposing.
- Kauffman Stadium is remarkably appealing. I would like to know what it looked like before the remodeling; it’s quite nice now. Speaking of which, this was a great way to end a game.
- This doesn’t have anything to do with Kansas City, but is kind of cool nonetheless.
