Bradbury RIP
By Ray Bradbury has passed away. In 1994, I walked right by him in a hotel in New Orleans without recognizing. By the time someone explained who he was, it was too late. In junior high and high school I worked my way through the entirety of the Oregon City Public Library’s Bradbury collection; Fahrenheit 451 of course, but also Martian Chronicles, Dandelion Wine, The Illustrated Man, Dark Carnival, Golden Apples of the Sun, and Something Wicked This Way Comes. Thinking about the last still freaks me the hell out.
