Tomorrow, I am attending the American Craft Beer Festival in Boston. Some advice is in order. Having never been to an event like this, I’m trying to figure out what strategy I should take. Should I stick with a particular type of beer and try and bunch of them? Go with tried and true breweries? Do things at random? I’m tending to think I should avoid an IPA-dominated day both because I get impatient with IPA culture (more hops=more manliness) but also because they will numb my taste buds to the point where trying any other style will be futile. Unless I wanted to go all-IPA which could be interesting. Given that I’m still pretty new to the east coast, most of this stuff I’ve never had, so that’s something to consider as well. What should I try? Here’s the list of available beers, let me know what you think.
