Because, apparently, the fact that liberal opinion journalists express liberal opinions in emails as well as public (and a libertarian journalist might have unkind if not false things to say about a Republican) proves that no scandal involving a Republican can ever be true, or something. Reynolds and Althouse aren’t really into making arguments so much as tribal grunting.
