By Nader does have a remarkable ability to synthesize every idiotic argument for a third party into one complete package. At this point, it seems worth noting again that electing George W. Bush wasn’t an unfortunate byproduct of his 2000 campaign; it was its central goal. There’s absolutely nothing to post-1980 Nader than 1. Punish Democrats by defeating them at the ballot box. 2. ??? 3. Profit! (And profits there are, just that they accumulate to interests Nader claims to oppose.)
