By “If it’s called Chinese checkers, why is there a Jewish star on the board?”
This was another one that I didn’t know the answer to until I looked it up, but turns out it’s pretty straightforward* and not quite as interesting as his question about the chess queen. (Although in looking it up I did learn about a game called “Chinese Chess” which I think we may need to try next…)
*If there’s a better answer to his question than what can be divined from the Wikipedia page and its assorted links (i.e. Chinese Checkers didn’t come from China, and sometimes a star is just a star), I’d love for readers to let me know.
